Pricing Specialist

Location: King of Prussia, PA


The Pricing Specialist is responsible for implementing a comprehensive national account pricing program. This includes communication/implementation of pricing with distributors, customers, internal systems, and the supplyFORCE ecommerce platform.

  • Manages a standard account base of customer agreements.
  • Follows the required quality processes.
  • Refreshes customer price matrices based on customer and manufacturer end dates.
  • Pricing rotation SPA maintenance & Price matrix update
  • Develops pre-negotiation analytics for quotations in advance of customer price refresh.
  • Prepares and uploads, electronic files into Ariba, Hubwoo, and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Manages documentation, communication and file maintenance of customer and OM price matrices.
  • Provides value add/cost savings summaries to FST.
  • Coordinates with price administrator and/or enters price matrix load into Eclipse.
  • Completes pricing audits where required.
  • Manages commodity pricing programs through interfacing with TradeService
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

  • Marketing Assessment & Strategy; create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance supplyFORCE position and image within the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain digital marketing strategy and social media presence
  • Develop budgets for the Marketing department
  • Ensure consistency internally and externally of all supplyFORCE print and electronic marketing materials including; letterhead, logo, presentations, handouts, website, newsletters, business cards, co-branding, etc.
  • Measure and report effectiveness of marketing programs, publications, and communications.
  • Maintain supplyFORCE website.
  • Manage newsletters including content management & development and design.
  • Create and develop supplyFORCE branded materials, including; Power Point presentations, brochures, cards, etc.
  • Design signage and provide promotional materials for the office, trade shows, and events.
  • Develop, manage, and facilitate manufacturer webinars in GoToWebinar.
  • Work with internal and external resources to plan, coordinate and execute annual National Meeting.
  • Manage registration and coordinate attendance for industry events.

Experience:

Minimum three years experience in the Industrial Distribution industry

Minimum two to three years’ experience in marketing or industry served.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
