EDI Administrator | SupplyForce

EDI Administrator 

Location: King of Prussia, PA


The EDI Administrator will work with our members and customers to ensure timely and accurate EDI on-boarding (for new clients) and ongoing production support of EDI file transmissions, while continuously improving the department EDI processes and systems, resulting in the highest value possible for our clients. The position will be responsible for developing, testing and implementing EDI processes and will function as the EDI development expert. The EDI Administrator will maintain and operate the EDI systems, support EDI transactions and related reports, analyze and research EDI issues, and perform other EDI requests, projects, and tasks.

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, enhance and maintain EDI functionality
  • Create and maintain interfaces between applications systems and EDI transaction
  • Maintain documentation and process flow of all EDI processes
  • Evaluate user requests for new and modifications to EDI applications/programs/processes/maps
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of EDI processing and data transfer efforts
  • Participate in project meetings, providing input to project plans and providing status updates
  • At the request of end users or management, research questions involving EDI applications and how the data is organized and populated
  • Perform technical analysis and data mining for EDI reporting requests from internal and external sources
  • Develop detailed source to target mapping from client data to various EDI specifications as well as data transformation documentation and explain the mapping to team members
  • Query data, compile data analysis, trends, error analysis and other information to assist clients to improve their EDI transactions
  • Act as the liaison between business partners, clients and IT

  • Marketing Assessment & Strategy; create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance supplyFORCE position and image within the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain digital marketing strategy and social media presence
  • Develop budgets for the Marketing department
  • Ensure consistency internally and externally of all supplyFORCE print and electronic marketing materials including; letterhead, logo, presentations, handouts, website, newsletters, business cards, co-branding, etc.
  • Measure and report effectiveness of marketing programs, publications, and communications.
  • Maintain supplyFORCE website.
  • Manage newsletters including content management & development and design.
  • Create and develop supplyFORCE branded materials, including; Power Point presentations, brochures, cards, etc.
  • Design signage and provide promotional materials for the office, trade shows, and events.
  • Develop, manage, and facilitate manufacturer webinars in GoToWebinar.
  • Work with internal and external resources to plan, coordinate and execute annual National Meeting.
  • Manage registration and coordinate attendance for industry events.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in EDI mapping, development, tools in an ANSI X12 environment
  • Ability to write SQL queries to extract data from databases/ODS
  • Development experience with 834, 835, 837, 277 and other standard EDI transactions
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other Relational database systems and EDI transmission protocols
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Minimum two to three years’ experience in marketing or industry served.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field; or 10 years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
