Director of Division Management, PVF

Location: Remote


The Director of Division Management, PVF (Pipes, Valves & Fittings Division) is responsible for driving the success of the division through both direct activities and through coordination with other departments (sales, marketing, pricing and operations). The Division Manager is measured primarily upon growth and revenue generation but is also responsible for non-direct revenue related activities.  This role will be responsible for the supplier and distributor relationships.

  • Develops the division specific marketing plan; delivers qualified leads to the field sales team; tracks progress on leads; assists where needed in closing the sale
  • Develops division specific pricing strategy; develops competitive pricing information; communicates pricing to Members (Distributors).
  • Develops a division specific manufacturer support program; generates manufacturer revenues; develops Total Cost of Ownership support programs; builds strategic pricing relationships
  • Identifies and fills geographic Member service gaps; resolves channel issues as escalated
  • Working with sales team assists in the development of pricing strategy for customer contracts; represents Company at review meetings; facilitates manufacturer sales and support
  • Leads steering committee meetings; maintains competitive intelligence; provides industry intelligence; serves as A-D division liaison; provides build out solutions for Canada and Mexico
  • Handles any other corporate duties and/or projects, as assigned, for the benefit of the organization

  • Marketing Assessment & Strategy; create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance supplyFORCE position and image within the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain digital marketing strategy and social media presence
  • Develop budgets for the Marketing department
  • Ensure consistency internally and externally of all supplyFORCE print and electronic marketing materials including; letterhead, logo, presentations, handouts, website, newsletters, business cards, co-branding, etc.
  • Measure and report effectiveness of marketing programs, publications, and communications.
  • Maintain supplyFORCE website.
  • Manage newsletters including content management & development and design.
  • Create and develop supplyFORCE branded materials, including; Power Point presentations, brochures, cards, etc.
  • Design signage and provide promotional materials for the office, trade shows, and events.
  • Develop, manage, and facilitate manufacturer webinars in GoToWebinar.
  • Work with internal and external resources to plan, coordinate and execute annual National Meeting.
  • Manage registration and coordinate attendance for industry events.

Deliverables:

  • Annual sales goals for the division are achieved
  • High level of external and internal customer satisfaction are consistently provided
  • Communicates to meet PVF Divisional Metrics and Goals

Experience:

  • Minimum five-years’ customer facing sales experience in the PVF Distribution industry

Minimum two to three years’ experience in marketing or industry served.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
